I'm not excited about working on the background now
I alternate between sadness, anger, and numbness. Right now, I just feel numb about the breakup. I don't think about him as much when I'm working on the parakeets, I guess that's a good sign. I'm healing.

Grief never follows a straight path like we want it to. It's more like a squiggely scribbled ball and some days are better than others. Time does heal though, healing takes time and yes finding anything constructive to take the mind off the recovery and the pain really helps.
