the very last photo my ex sent me were of parakeets.

We haven't texted each other in a month. We're ghosting each other. It's over, and none of us is going to say goodbye. My worst fear is he's with another woman and when she dumps him he'll finally text me "Hey, I miss you" and i'll text back in half a second " I missed you too! Please love me back this time!" or he'll send me a pic of his new gf he claims to not have. He's too kind to do that, but I'm not sure.

I dream of him every night. I seriously wish he'd stay out of my dreams. He better be dreaming of me too!

"What was real?" I wonder, recalling all our sweet words, promises, and kisses. I don't know what was real and what was lies. Were we ever in love?

It breaks my heart to work on the parakeets, but I want to draw/color it. I hope that when I'm done I'll feel better.

I'm listening to Alex Band "Only One" as I draw this. Maybe I should listen to "Happy" by Pharrell LOL #depressedcrying
