uhm, no-- it's not a rain forest at all, it's taken in the "fichtelgebirge", some mountains in the east part of germany. but it was raining so much that i'm glad my camera survived this shot, i just covered it with my hands.in my opinion the rain created a very nice atmosphere (especially the intense colors) and i think it turned out quite well.

sorry to the people that I didn't get a chance to use their photo in, I WANTED TO PUT EVERY SINGLE PHOTO IN BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL...but i couldn't because the video had to be 60 sec in length 
however, please watch the video, and please vote for it if you could but if you don't want to, that is fine too ^^!~

yeah. its such a green forest... even the floor of it! here in america we dont have forests like that. i always see them in the movies and wish they were here, and i didnt know if they even existed. obviously they do.. and you managed to capture an amazing photo of this awesome place. nice shot

yes, these forests are nice -- the only thing that bothers me is the fact that they are "tidied up" so much, no fallen trees, no branches lying around, it's because they is a lot of forestry, which is bad.
but there are definately some more beautiful forests here

Beautiful and rich colors, most definitely. I love the contrast between the light and dark, and the shadows as well as the light shining in places.

Many photographers will tell you pictures taken in the rain enhance the image-how colorful and vibrant it looks, as well as the atomosphere. The rain itself does not show up in the shots, (unless it's a time lapse photo or milk is mixed with the water and drisseled above the head of the model). I'm inclined to agree.
Mind you, this is a gorgeous shot. It looks like some of the woods outside my house during the spring. It looks as if faeries should be dancing around on that stump to the left.
