As I usually try to do every year, I opted to be a swing Secret Santa at my Disney club #DisneyDreamers for those of my fellow club mates whose original Santas had to drop out. For my second Santa, I coincidentally got my own Secret Santa this year, ~Fairyshrub , who drew this [link] awesome picture for me! So it was a real pleasure to sort of give her a gift in return.

Viola! Here it is-- a "sorta'" fairy tale, not only because these two wonderful characters aren't in the same movie, but also because I don't know how I got them together in the first place. In ~Fairyshrub 's questionnaire, she listed the Beast and Jim as two of her top ten favorite Disney characters, and for some reason they jumped out at me, and I really wanted to draw them together. I really like how their designs and color pallets mesh, and yet seeing them together is a surprise. I'm still not exactly sure of what they're doing together-- I'd guess they're off on some kind of adventure. Maybe Belle was kidnapped. By John Silver. Who's been hired by Gaston because he didn't die. For ransom. And Jim has to help the Beast find Silver. Because they don't know it's Gaston who's the real mastermind. And because he's not with Belle, he turns back into a beast... I smell fanfiction.

I almost didn't upload it for ~Fairyshrub 's gift, just because Jim was the fifth one from the bottom of her ten fav characters, and not even the first TP character she listed (although Beast was her second-favorite). Hopefully, though, she'll like this!

I left the image size pretty big, since I figure it'd be a nice desktop background if ~Fairyshrub or anyone else wants to use it. I hate that the preview image is so small though. D:
