Dear Journal,

Tybalt is yelling in my ear for giving this entry a 'cheesy' start. He says I should give it more flavour, more 'snazz' like I say. I like my snazz.

It's been a day since the Battle of Claw Island, and I'm feeling a little better after a bit of exploration with Tybs. Shock's still hanging over me like a thundercloud, I can't escape the trauma of talking Tybalt out of staying behind distracting Zhaitan and being forced to do so many things in so little time yesterday. It's just like a chaotic blur in my head.. the stress is beginning to fade, though. I have high hopes I'll get over it soon!

We invited Trahearne to tag along, but he was busy studying Orr, stress eating while at it. I can't blame him for all the pressure we've put on him these past few days. I hope he cheers up soon, and if not, Caithe told me she'll wander into the Priary lab and yell 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' at him with a cake in hand. (Even if it isn't his birthday)

Speaking of Caithe, I'm quite pumped about tomorrow morning! She told me and Tybalt she'll take us to Mount Maelstrom tomorrow. I hear it's beautiful around there, but also ridiculously dangerous. Caithe said that danger's a lie, and to be honest, I'm not convinced. But hey, anything's possible! As for lunch, and if we need it, Tybalt's packing veggie burgers and apples. I really do wonder if he's addicted.

For now, I'm kicked back and relaxed in a comfy tent at Grey Gritta's post. Tybalt's just set out harvesting for Wintersday treats already, and I promised that I'd help him get his hands on the plumpest chicken and the freshest rosemary before the 83rd. I've only gotten one rosemary branch so far, and it was from this kind captain named Seana. She's quite open-minded for a general, and her first impression's quite unique and bubbly. We had a small talk about Fireflies, Southsun Survival and a rant about how overrated Belcher's bluff is. Then, she had to tend to her duties. Seana's a jolly one, I hope to see her again and maybe introduce her to Tybs.

On the subject of Tybalt, I think I see him running in the distance. And... I also believe that he has a herd of centaurs chasing him. That's my queue!
