ok so i decided to do a sonic 7 part 2, i know its more than 7 sonics i jus wanted to name it sonic 7.2.... anyway in this its waaay different then sonic 7. lets c in this you have...1. Retro sonic
2. Nazo sonic, i never heard of him till now
3. Metal sonic
4. Mecha sonic
5. hyper sonic
6. polar sonic he came from the archie comic i dont know which issue tho
7.eco sonic came from the comic as well
8. solar sonic came from the comic
9. ultimate sonic
i hope this time i got all the sonics if not o well thats to bad

it's what the super form of sonic was going to look like in SonicX but they changed their minds, and thus Nazo(mystery) was born, given the name due to the fact no one know who or what it was for so long, however there is the possibility they only said it was a sonic form so that they could unmake a character they created. In the end you can't really take their word for it due to the fact the teaser for him was from so very long ago they could have forgot and just made up the reason for his existence from the seat of their pants. To tell the truth, I find it impossible to swallow the idea that they thought it would be ok in any time or place to change Sonic's iconic Super form, but hey that's just me.

*Reads comments below* It's amazing how people fail to distinguish between fan-fiction and canon. "Nazo" was shown at the end of the Sonic X anime trailer as a supposed super-form (many assumed Hyper Sonic). The name "Nazo" came from the name of the image that was pulled from the Sonic X website many years ago. The image was called "Nazo.jpg". As stated below "nazo" is the japanese word for "mystery", in an attempt I assume by the animation company to hide what exactly he was.
As this form (we assume of Sonic) never actually appeared in the finished series, we will never know what the producers of the show intended for it.
Now Nazo from the animation FAN series "Nazo Unleashed" is based upon this image (img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20… as stated by the creator of "Nazo Unleashed". Nazo's backstory, powers, origin etc. were all made up by Chakra X (as he/she was known at the time) but the concept of this character was created by TMS Entertainment as either an unnamed character or super form.

Polar, Eco, and solar sonic appeared in sonic #71 I think. I remember it being the issue that had the story events in it going backwards because of time reversing in Knothole. It was when Sonic was turned into his modern version with green eyes.

Actually Nazo was originally supposed to be Hyper Sonic for the show Sonic X but was never used. So from a point of view Nazo IS or was supposed to be a Sonic form.

Actually Polar, Solar and Eco sonic are *erhm* Archies "Hyper" Sonic. It was like issue 77 or something. When Sonic had a Super Emerald he ran across the planet and the diffrent environments made him change color. Yeah I know: Half assed.

nazo is japanese for mystery and was actually planned as an enemy of sonic in sonicX (this is at least what I heard) but he got caneled for some reason
therefor I never heard about hyper sonic (I know he should have been playable in sonic 3 but I never could unlock him nor super sonic), polar sonic, eco sonic nor ultimate sonic.

Oh to awnser your statement trunks24, Ultimate/Ultra sonic and his elemental forms is from issues 65, 66, and 71 of the US sonic comic! I got them if you want to read them?
And to all you nitwits who think nazo is a character, hes nither a character or a form we will never know. BUT hes assumed to be a SX form of super or hyper sonic so thats how it is. We only think of him as a seprate character because of that flash animation.

yea i figured i would use sonic element forms so it could fill up the paper so i thank u 4 that idea and plenty of ppl asked who they were and where did they come from, now i can tell them so thanks 4 that to...and as for nazo...geez i didnt know ppl would get like they r on the comments for all that i would have never drew him with the other sonics

Don't worry about the "Nazo: character or form?" thing, its going to be a infinite loop dispute. One of those things we sonic fans will always dispute and never find an answer for just like the "Dr. eggman vs Dr. robotnik: what should his name be?" or "Sonic's Eyes: Green or black? You decide!" dispute, always argued, never solved.
Nazo is a sonic form thats my thoughts on it so he should rightfully stay in your pic.
