Description I hold his hand
He holds mine
It fits.

He wears a white shirt
On a sunny day outside
I wear a black blouse
On our walk through the park

Strangers walk by
Most not looking twice
Some staying for a while
But never knowing why

When everyone leaves
He looks at me
His eyes betray his thoughts
I can hear what's inside

He kisses me
He carves my name
On an old tree


I kiss him back
But I don't even bother
To see his tree


I let go of his hand
I walk alone and
Soon realize I can also run



Almost
Reaching an end
He calls out my name
Loud and clear

His vibes
Filter through
My skin
Echo
In the void inside
My body

He walks towards me
And I just stand there
As he collects pieces
Of his broken dream

"What about me?"
I finally speak
Confused he mumbles
"I carved your name on my tree"

I take a sudden step back
Turn around
And run towards an end
Which someday
On my own
I will eventually reach

I'm trying to be selfless and selfish at the same time, I think that's how the situation is right now! I'm relieved that I'm getting a lot of support concerning the decision, it seems that I'm thinking right, I could've swore I thought people would tell me to stop my ambitions and get back to reality or something. The support is just the best at the moment, from family, friends.. I feel well surrounded
