thank you, ayamei! no.. It is a long exposure of 20 seconds and after about 13 seconds
I took the apple away - done in about 3 minutes (including set up, shooting and colour
adjustment on pc)

you're welcome! i'm going to sound silly asking...but how exactly did you take the foreground apple away?
that's a very very very long exposure i'm taking beginning black and white photography at school, and the longest my exposures have been are about 8 seconds. ^ ^;
