Description
I was inspired by the question given: Who am I and who do I want to be? I am an artsit, a woman, psychology student, German, Tunisian, daughter, sister etc.. and I am also a Muslim woman wearing a headscarf. Fortunately, my works are getting recognized more and more in public but I feel I am getting reduced to the Muslim (basically the headscarf wearing one) identity that is just one part of my personality (reduced not necessarily maliciously and maybe sometimes by myself?). I'm looking forward to the time when I don't feel pigeonholed, where I'm not just the so called "hijabi" (or maybe any other single label). I'm looking forward to the time when people see me as multifaceted and "human" as I really am. So this is a less "obvious" radical transformation but still a significant change.

Tools used to create the work:
I drew this with a pentel brush, then scanned it and finally colored and adjusted the picture in Photoshop Elements 6.0 using a Bamboo tablet.

How long did it take to create the work:
It took approximately three hours.
