Yeah, it is...But we're gonna have some practices during the spring and winter so that we can get used to it again and maintain or skills.

that is so true. my creative writing teacher is the gaurd coach so she keeps talking about it and telling us to join. but im sadly uncordinated and accident prone so gaurd for me probably wouldnt be a good idea

Take it from me, you can be accident prone and uncoordinated, and do just fine in guard! I broke my toe trying to throw a toss on flag, I had bruises on my wrists that, if you didn't look close enough, looked like I cut myself (from sabre), and I almost broke my finger from rifle. Guard has actually helped with my coordination! And it's so fun that all the hurt doesn't really matter when the day is done!
