no relation to the film or album (by the jesus and mary chain) here..i'm taking part in a collective exhibition next week together with my sis and lots of other people i don't know, and i'm gona submit 3 paintings. the theme for the exhibition is 'expressions' (i think..). now i hate themes for exhibitions but i think that the stuff i do has something to do with expressions. anyway, this is the first of the 3 paintings..i still have 2 more paintings to finish by the end of this week!

great structure. the image is top heavy-- although it really isnt heavy. so i guess that was a bad choice of words. You definitely had a good solid sense of balance when it comes to designing your images.

beautiful. you have put a lot of things together in the last few months. i'm more impressed everytime i see a new piece from you. your "packed aras vs. open spaces" compositions are VERY interesting and your work with typos is really strong.

I like the composition, which seems to be a usual thing with your works - the load is shifted away from the centre to the edges and corners of the painting. Very clever.
