they are illegal in many states of the US still, including the one i live in, including fennac foxes
i did like your interpretation of it, however, i have to admit i didn't personally put that much thought into it
i've always wanted a pet fox
to me, it meant.. having someone who listens, i guess, and can recognize some things, even the unsaid ones
i have this awful habit of leaving every kitchen cabinet open out, because i freak out when they're closed
and after i admitted that's why out loud, vs just being lazy, he started describing the perfect kitchen as one with "no cabinet doors"

so, that feeling, i guess

Just thought I would mention that pet foxes (specifically Fennec foxes) are not illegal in most states, though they are difficult pets to care for.

nah that's fine, i enjoy learning new things, and sometimes i've got to make an ass out of myself before i learn anything
