Well, I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, and so I respect yours. However, that doesn't mean you have to insult. "Disgusting" is such a harsh and ugly word. Trust me, there are many things I do not like, and yet I abstain from such remarks, or any remark really.

I didn't say "I don't have a reason" in regards to the Vlad/Danny pairing as a whole. It referred to the fact that I didn't really have a reason for making the stamp. It just hit me and I wanted to with nothing prompting me to do so.

If you are still wanting a reason for my liking Vlad/Danny, it simply has to do with my personal likes. Many of my favorite pairings follow this same formula. I like two enemies together (gives a greater challenge to the shipper, making one commit if they really want it to happen). I like when one is somewhat tainted by the world while the other is more innocent and optimistic as it's better than having just two cynics or two pie-in-the-sky happy people. I love older/younger pairings, and even though Vlad/Danny is a bit of an intense case even in this instance, I like it. (Although, Vlad isn't that old. If you'll remember, he has been gray-headed since his early twenties when the proto-portal went off on him. He's the same age as Jack and Maddie and they don't have gray hair. It simply has to do with what happened to him.) Also Vlad and Danny have one of the most charged, in depth, and complicated relationships in the show. Sometimes they're mortal enemies, sometimes they drop their grudges and work together for the greater good. Basically, there's a lot that can be done with the two of them. Someone with a good understanding of the series and the two characters can really make them come together well, provided they are willing to commit the time. It's certainly much more challenging (and rewarding) than going with Danny/Sam where everything is handed to you.

And that, amongst many other reasons, is why I like Vlad/Danny.

Wow, after your explanation, I realise that Danny/Vlad actually fits in with a lot of my interests; older/younger, evil/innocent, yaoi. Maybe I should check into this fandom a little more?

It doesn't say on my page. xD Probably because I don't really have a reason.
But if I had to explain, I guess that it just falls on my personal likes. My favorite pairings all have a very similar motif in them. One is younger than the other and more innocent, approaching the world with hope and wanting to make a difference. While the other is older and more hardened, seeing the cruel world for what it really is. I guess that I just like the symbolism of tainted innocence. (Not in a perverted way. >///> )

For Vlad and Danny, the extreme age difference actually did bother me a bit at first. It was pretty much the only thing keeping me from shipping them. Because I liked that they're enemies but were occasionally amiable towards each other. Plus, they're the only two ghost hybrids. xD Ooooh, implications. D8
When I saw so many people online putting them together though, I sort of shrugged the age thing off. :3

Don't apologize! I much prefer a lengthy answer to explaining someone's art than "duh.. i just thought it was cool..".

I kinda think that's what art is about overall...

But yeah I don't think i could ever really wrap my mind around Vlad and Danny lol. There's definitely a closeness and relation between the two but i don't know.. and i'm a huge fan of yaoi too! lol.

I like to put a little thought into my pairings. Haha. I mean, I do have the "I just do" ships, but I don't think I even pay them much attention. lol. I'm not even sure if it's coincidence that all of my favorite pairs are like that or if I really did seek the ones out that fit said bill. Who knows?

Vlad/Danny is probably just a love 'em or leave 'em pair. lol. And I think it's quite obvious that I am the former. xD
