Well, I made them because I wanted to really. There isn't much reason beyond that. They're just like any other image in that I don't want any of my drawings redistributed. These are icon size though because I fashioned them using the same base I had already made for my Danny Phantom icon, which I do use. Making another base (a slightly different size) for the same thing would have been silly.
Now why I don't want people using them is that yes, the first wave of people who get them directly from me would give credit and they would thank me. But the people after that, who get the icons from those people and not from me? They wouldn't know where they had come from and I would get no credit. Because I don't put much faith in the "I'll give you credit if I can use it" angle. So yeah.
