Timeline:

[1997-98]Sailor Moon - Saw this when I was about seven or eight? Blew my tiny imagination away.

[1998] Klonoa: Door to Phantomile - EPIC GAME! Everything about this is like a masterpiece. Gained heavy interest in the theme of dreaming from this story alone (still prefer the old PS version today)

[2002]Kingdom Hearts - This game would forever shape my art. I remember seeing the commercial a few days before my 12th birthday, not knowing what the shrimp it was (only had played Nintendo games at the time besides Spyro and Crash Bandicoot).I got it. The rest was history. I even promised myself to draw Sora every year to monitor my improvement.

[2002]Utada Hikaru - Her music videos for Sakura Drops, Colors, Crossing Over, Passion...

[2003]Revolutionary Girl Utena - The idea of a female prince gained this strange tomboy's interests). Epic in my book.

[2004]

[2004]Venice, Italy - Gained influence from Venetian culture as well as Victorian and Renaissance eras.

[2005]Studio4°C

[2006]Lee Young-You - Became my favorite Korean graphic novelist.

[2006]Ryohei Huke

[2006]Las Vegas - enjoyed studying the history of the American Mafia, which someone how lead to Vegas (later would inspired my web comic, The Risk of Spades).

[2009]

[2010]Banpai Akira

★★★

Basically I enjoy all forms of animation, and gain inspiration from literally anything and everything. This is just the ones that stood out at the time regarding my style.

Update: 2011 - Inspiration to come in full circle.
