I continue to paint little children with free style watercolor. For the moment I'm more in a kind of monochrome fashion... I play with values rather than colors.

The eyes... oh my! It looks like she's awash in blue light. With the title, it's like she's on another planet, looking up, asking her grandmother what Earth was like... The only way this could get any better would be some added touches of the darker values - but that's kind of like putting gravy on already perfect mashed potatoes.

Very nice. I think it's incredible how you can do this. Monochrome is a technique in it's own right, regardless of medium. Seems like watercolor would add a level of difficulty.

I appreciate watercolor portraits soo much because i know they're difficult so i admire artists who can paint so well with watercolors
