I drew this picture for a fanfiction I have been trying to write. It's called "Midnight Silence", is in the Sonic ANGST Genre, and is shamelessly onesided Slash. *Slash-haters flee!*

In short, the Fanfiction revolves around the Chaotix, who are asked to take on a new mission (Aren't all of the Chaotix fics like that?). Vector is out at the time when the letter is recieved, and Espio- That serious and nifty Ninja, goes out to find him. Vector is in a rarely serious mood, and talks about something dear to him, but it is Espio who realises there may be someone more dear to him than he would have imagined.

Since I'm still working on Chapter Two, a situation like this hasn't happened yet, but it's a scene that I want to use at some point. I am intending to involve that cute little Cream's Mum, Vanilla, when I can, as it is close enough to Canon, Sonic X-wise. However, she's not going to be bashed -since this is a *gasp* Vecpio fic.- I'm going to try to portray her as best I can. She's not the problem- Espio is.

IN REGARDS TO THE PAIRING: If you don't like Vecpio, just cover Espio up, and enjoy the Vecilla cuteness!

I'm very pleased with how this turned out. It looks better in real life, but I think it hasn't warped too much in it's translation to JPEG. I tried to use colours that I'd used in one place, in another, to tie them together. It's nighttime, if you can't tell, but I tried to maintain a lot of light- I wanted to capture a sort of "Warmth". I think Vector looks a bit too Static in the drawing- Vanilla looks fine. Espio looks better than I anticipated, largely due to the effect his colour has against anything- So foreign, so much like something that doesn't fit in there...
