Hell if I could come up with a decent title.

Anyways, this was an assignment I did maybe two weeks ago for English. We had to draw a portion of this poem on the explosion of the Challenger in '85 or so. (How nice and relevant, I was barely alive if I was even born yet.) So, as opposed to most students who went for literally drawing the metaphors they used, like the shuttle exploding and a child letting go of balloons, I drew what the poem was trying to say.

Effectively, it was about how the media tries to control our emotions. The news shows us a tragedy, we're supposed to cry, then they swap to sports and you lose interest in the sorrow. So, yeah. I'm too tired to talk anymore about this.

Oh yeah, I only had seven minutes or so to make the assignment, so that's why it's so PAINFULLY sketchy.
