Description
The sheriff finished tying up on of the gros that was caught in the illegal underground fighting ring, he was angry that he was only able to capture a couple of these evil wyngros and furious to think that they somehow got a tip in regards to the raid, many of the leaders escaped along with the wynglings.
He pushed the scum bag over to one of his officers and took another couple with him to go inspect the now abandoned fight club, determined to check every nook and cranny for gros.

As the sheriff and his officers searched, they began to feel there was nothing left but boxes and over turned tables and a few scattered coins causing Russell to sign in defeat. They had not managed to save any wyngling nor catch the ring leader of the operation, they only managed to catch a few sapped out gamblers.

Suddenly he heard one of his officers moving a knocked over table and call out, informing him they had found another room. They opened it to see a dimly lit dungeon and heard some scuffling and clinking, the sheriffs heart racing as they saw a lone wyngling, chained to the wall by a golden collar and covered in scratches and cuts. As they approached, their voices soothing in hopes to calm the brown gro, they noticed marks on the chain, it seemed the gros that took the others tried to take this one but for some reason couldn't take of the chain and he wondered why.

One of the officers stepped forward and reached out to try and remove the collar from around the wynglings neck but it moved back, hissing in fear as the adults hand moved closer causing Russell to stop him, instead he decided to get one of his officers to use fire magic to melt the metal, hoping to remove the collar once they gain the wynglings trust.

Russell could see the wyngling had been abused, probably used in these fighting pits and judging by the golden collar and chain, he was causing the pits to gain some good money and must have been one of the better fighters. Russel turned his nose up at that thought, it wasn't fighting that was going on here, the wynglings and wyngros used were trying to stay alive.
He sat down a few feet away from the wyngling that huddled up against the wall under the wooden steps that led out of his little pit. Russell folded his claws in front of him and laid his head down on his feet and just looked at the wynglings. "I'm Russell, I'm gonna get ye out of this dump and into a nice place kay. What's your name kid?" Russell asked.
The wyngling looked at him as he though about what the big brown gro was saying "I.. I don't know my name" he said, he was never given one, he was just known as a number.
Russell scratched his chin "I ain't to good with names but ye look like an Adidas, how does that work for ye?" he offered. The wyngling nods, Adidas, that sounded good to him.

Russell led Adidas out of the dark pits to the outdoors, Adidas stopped and felt the grass under his feet and felt the sun on his skin, he was outside, there was so many new smells and things to see and hear. He saw bugs crawling across the ground that caught his attention until Russell went to touch the collar around his neck, causing him to flinch away, causing Russell to pull his hand back "It's ok kid, i just wanna get that hunk of metal off ye" he explained which made Adidas shake his head, the adults that feed him got angry when he messed with his collar "n-no I need to keep it on" Adidas said. Russell will try again later, for now, he needed to get this wyngling to Dr F then to Alma.
