Description
Deimos murdered Andrew Blake as Lady Huldra, a dark elf enchantress, arrived at the evil demigod's behest. As he had done in centuries past, Deimos enlisted the dark elves to hunt down the descendantsΒ of Ares and the dragon mages. Huldra refused, but Deimos offered no alternatives. It was not an optional task. With a vial of Andrew's blood and Deimos's human contacts at their disposal, the dark elves would once again travel across Earth slaughtering entire families in an effort to extinguish the bloodline of Ares. It was this mission which would bring them in contact with Lucian and Elissa Constantin, Ender's birth parents.Related content

Thanks, man, and sorry for the late response. Huldra refused because the dark elves had done Deimos's dirty work before. The dark elves are not ruled by him, but since his time with the demon kingdoms, Deimos has become quite adept at 'flexing his muscles' and barking orders. The threat of a demon invasion and "who's side are you going to be on" were enough for her to relay the message back to Volund, current emperor of the dark elves. I have big plans for the dark elves, but the demon civil war interrupts those plans so they're sort of put on hold till after my Lucifer story ends which at my pace will never happen.

Yes, on the second part of Deimos. I know I'm somewhat vague in regards to Deimos, but parts of his involvement in Ender's life have been somewhat of a recent change to Ender's story. Deimos has several human 'servants' or rather contacts on Earth. These humans are in high ranking positions in military and political positions. He's been establishing a group of obedient humans for his own plans as well as plans of Mastema. The demon civil war will eventually spill over to Earth even if someone makes it happen. A lot of Deimos's plans are thwarted by Hermes and Ares and several of his soldiers. This battle between Hermes, Ares, Deimos, etc is how Deimos discovers Andrew Blake.
Deimos did not extract this kind of information from Andrew. What he extracted was knowledge of Andrew's family, etc. Andrew was pretty much a nobody except for him hiding his special abilities. He was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. And yes, the red was purposely done. The red lighting ended up getting a little washed out once I added some filters, but I like the subtlety of it.
