Elsa Portrait (Done with colored Pencil)After watching Frozen II, I got inspired to do this because I wanted to give her hair more body and also make her lips fuller. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to Elsa, because her hair color and skin tones baffle me.

I still love the blues you use for your work- they mix so great with the paper coloring! Good use of her expression, and I like how her hair flows. But yeah, her new hair is very tricky- the braid was such a good clue that it was Elsa that without it, it barely looks like her unless an artist copies the Disney style almost EXACTLY.

Yeah, I went a little overboard with her hair lol, but with my style (beautify or cutiefy) , it's one of the only ways to make it a little different from the original. I struggle with Elsa for the same reason I haven't done an Ariel piece (which isn't chibi). Disney makes Ariel so beautiful, that I just can't improve on her in any way. That's also why I didn't draw Elsa with her giant eyes wide open. I might have made her look almost Asian, but I was hoping she would still be recognizable as Elsa

I don't think she looks Asian- her eyes are just too huge for that, lol!
Ariel at least is easy to see from her hair. Elsa used to be the same way until they redesigned her. But I still recognized Elsa with this drawing- her face looks just like that one scene in the movie, where she realizes that love unlocks her control over her abilities.
