Description
The fruition of my little pet project, Operation M.O.R.P.H.E. (Model O(mega) Replica Project: Holiday Edition).I will be uploading a separate file of WIP shots for this project; I'll admit I made it overly complicated on myself. I also don't have a very good camera, so sadly I can only get you guys this horrible iphone jpeg image. Apart from the gem, I'm actually very happy with how this turned out.
Omega/Model O are currently C of CAPCOM.
*Edit* measures approximately 5" x 5.5" x 1.5" inches

glad you enjoy it! Also, still using that art for your icon... awesome. The Gems were a random unrelated find at a dollar store and I couldn't resist. Glad I didn't. XD

Yup, sure am still using it as my icon. Well that was a great find that really complements Model O. Ā ^^
I think it might be time for me to start getting back into drawing and such. Ā Just gotta come up with some ideas.

Wondering what is it made out of?
Alright, how about making better hands? My latest upload, I am not pleased with the hands and wasn't sure how to make them any better.

Mine? Here;Ā subzerochimera.deviantart.com/ā¦
I was talking about giving you suggestions... XD better hands are always a good proctice point though... but try feet too every once in a while! They can be surprisingly tricky!

Very nice work, never tried that myself.
Feet, my goodness that sound hard... I never look at feet in the first place. Ā I agree with you.

Ahhhh, help! He's going to destroy the world!
Looks GREAT! Sorry, calling it MORPHE makes me think of the Power Rangers, but then biometals DO allow their bearers to morph into powerful heroes...

Heh heh, yeah probably should've thought of that before I coined the term. Also sadly, yelling megamerge randomly doesn't seem to do much for me. I suppose I'm not the biomatch. XD

A few words of praise are hardly compensation for hours of work.Ā XD
Come to think of it, how long did it take you?Ā You mentioned working on it a day back or so, but it seemed that you wanted it to be a surprise, so I'm assuming it was under wraps for a time.

Uhm, I didn't really take an exact log of hours, especially since most of those were spent waiting for various stages to dry... uhm, hum. Well, I know I was fairly full-on working on it when I posted the operation morphe journal, which was december 21st... well, apart from yesterday and a few other days between now and then (like boxing day and christmas day and new years especially) I took off, but otherwise it was prettty off-and-on for the whole time. I'd honestly estimate it around 2 weeks of work give or take a half-week? should've logged THA with the WIP shots. XD

*bows lowly* I dress to impress... er, something like that. XD

Waiting is the hardest part.Ā THE CHIMERA MAXIM: The amount of time that one has to wait for the completion of a project is in inverse proportion to the desire to see it finished.Ā Unless it's homework.Ā Then the relationship becomes quadratic no matter what.Ā XD
Heh.Ā XDĀ I wasn't aware that Chimeras dressed!Ā It seems like it would get pretty durn warm to throw clothes onto all that fur...Ā XD

I'd most definitely write more if I had the time.Ā Or play videogames.Ā XDĀ Cuz I get sidetracked pretty easily.
CURSED WORK THAT MUST BE PERFORMED AT HOME!Ā FROM HELL'S HEART I STAB THEE!Ā *MUCH STABBAGE*
Wondering about Chimeric fashion sense is still a valid point!Ā XDĀ 'Sides!Ā You could have been serious about that!Ā

*MASHES THE HELL OUT OF THE FAVE BUTTON*
YOU EVEN PUT IN THE LITTLE DATA BITS
And ironically, given the subject matter, aged and cracked works juuuuuuuuuuuust fine.
This came out FANTASTIC!
How big is it irl?

TyrantChimera In reply to TheDarkbreaker [2015-01-07 02:00:21 +0000 UTC]
oops, should add that to the description.. measures approximately 5 inches wide, 5 and 1/2 long, and a bit under 2 inches at its deepest, the faceplate, whereas the rest is about a little over 1 inch.
*pokes the abused fav button* huh.
I was reading a wiki on Model O the other day and it had the interesting theory that Model O was so orangey due to rust and age. Kinda ran with that idea. XD

Wow, very nice! Granted I still suck at working in actual 3D rather than 2D, so this is well out of my experience range. That's pretty hefty, though.
And that is an interesting theory, though I could swear you went with the aged look mostly because the clay was being uncooperative. XD

TyrantChimera In reply to TheDarkbreaker [2015-01-07 14:43:00 +0000 UTC]
I'm not too good at it either honestly. XD
Well, I'd been pondering from the start whether or not to add rust spots, etc to this thing, and the uncooperatie paint job just cinched it.
