Description
Just wanted to do a pic that had a foreground, mid-ground and background. Testing out how good my painting skills are digitally. Can't say I'm disappointed or impressed, but I'm quite liking that I'm making progress, even if I used one too many layers than I would have liked. XD
And I FINALLY got around to giving Hyouji's outfit a color scheme. =A=;;; dayum.
...It looks too plain though. Should get him spiffier clothes.
Also I found that I mentioned Hyouji liking high places, and even RP him being in a tree half the damn time but I never really draw him sitting in said tree. . ____ .)a So here he is, sitting up in a tree with a scythe-and-chain and two daggers within his reach. |D No idea if he's training or he's being chased or something. I even forgot that I wanted to try hiding his assailant in the bg.
Ah well. At least there's... something of a view of the Hollows in the group? Just tons of green everywhere. |D;;;;
(c) (you know, looking at his icon here and the pic up there, it seems I can't even draw him consistently.

Try to define the leaves as you progress along, btw.o3o The fluffiness...ain't that characteristic of trees, and for now it looks like most of them are round bushes?;;
It's a tough thing to define, these leaves, but the common idea is that it would spread out as the branches branch out, so it could be thick and leafy where the trunk is and spreads out to be somewhat thinner as it gets further away from the trunk. I wish I can add muro here to further demonstrate what I mean, but yeah.
The colours are good, tho.

Serious diggin' the background, woman. Especially the wrinkly (or whatever you call it--) parts on the tree. I didn't get to watch that long on join.me cuz of derp connection problems.
But love it. And yeah, I think the cloths look simple, but simple can be nice too~ Plain, though easy to draw. Really up to you to decide what ya wanna do with Hyouji's design.
