Nice top. Did you use neoprene throughout the pattern or just where you needed more stretch dimensionally (for cupping and contouring). Reason why I ask is that I have yet to try out neoprene in any of my little projects....

heh, I wrote that when I wasn't particularly awake or coherent... I meant a 12x12 square with a 6x6 section taken out...

I used neoprene for the entirety of the cups and for most of the straps. Basically, the black rings running in the same direction as the strap are neoprene, the ones that form the /\/\/\ pattern holding the 2 lines of 14g together are aluminum. I also used aluminum at the top of the connection between the cups, more as a last minute fix (the model felt that her breasts weren't held close enough together). If you remove that connection, it's a fairly straight forward 'L' pattern for the cups (basically make a 6x6 square of J4-1, with a 3x3 square taken out of one corner, stitch that gap together, that line faces down).

Thanks for the info. All of the weaves I have been working on have been without the use of neoprene, though I have attempted to limit the amount of "play" by switching to a more restrictive or less restrictive weave (e4-1 to e6-1) or changing ring diameters. I've been working on a large section of E4-l with the two different ring diameters; same gauge, smaller rings in half diameter to the larger rings.

What would be considered the useful life of the neoprene rings used? Have you ever had to double up the neoprene to provide additional resistance to stretching too much, or do you omit the neoprene to eliminate the stretch in those instances?

I haven't had any of them break on me yet on this, though I haven't really stress tested it... on my stretchy cuffs, I've only replaced 1, but it was right by the connection and put under some serious stress. I double up all of the neoprene rings in the top, just in case... if one goes, no problem if it's doubled, otherwise, it's a major blowout...

Model or the top

We made one little last minute adjustment to it - the top connector between the cups wasn't there originally... it was done to bring the breasts together a bit...

Welllllll if I had a model like that I could make the top. I don't have the protruberances required for the top.

Both are great though!
