Nice work! Is this your own style? The lines and facial expression on Smurfette are very similar to Lauren Faust's artwork on "My Little Pony".

I don't rly know ... I guess it's kind of a mix of my style and me trying to go for the look of the shorts (christmas carol and smurfy hollow). :>

I also noticed a bit of Stephan Franck's look for the Smurfs as well. In an interview he said that he deliberately redesigned the Smurfs with bigger so they could be more expressive and comical. He felt Peyo's original design was very limited in how the Smurfs could express themselves. I disagree. The facial expressions for the ponies on "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" are very limiting as well, but the animators deliberately and frequently go off-model for wacky scenes like emotional breakdowns, shock or happiness.
