Day Two of Best of Unpublished 2016Here is another one of those "went nowhere" comics. This time I had an outline and a complete cast line up. The story would focus around supernatural events happening in a seaside New England town, and would include a cast of Ghouls, Vampires, Thralls, and a hundreds of years old Witch named Vivien, who would be the lead of the story. The story would also have at it's core elements of alternative American History, like Vikings in North America, which we now know is true, but this would be a larger settlement. Hidden Pirate gold and Atlantean trolls/giants would have shown up too.

It's kinda hard to read, but does the bottom right say "The Fart Vampire"?
Really dig the fact that Vivien has a beaver sidekick! Hopefully a talking one, like the koala in Charles Soule/Ryan Browne's Curse Words!
And I would amend that description to say "went nowhere YET." Who knows? It's kind of daunting when you think about how much work goes into the finished product, but if you just do a little at a time, eventually it gets there! A very cool cast for what I'm sure would be a sha-weet comic!

Thanks! Yes, it does say Fart Vampire. As in, lives on Farts. The beaver would have mostly expressed itself in squeaks and chirps and eye rolls. It would have been a sort of stand in for the audience.
And who knows. You're right, I might take this back up, but with client work, the Sweet Buxom Penny weekly comic, any comic book length stories I might try to publish, this is probably going to get pushed further to the back.
