Your work always seems like it should take much longer to complete than it does...amazing, yet again.

*sighs*
Wow, I could use a ton of watchers as well...
Anyway, from one Half Life 2 concept artist to another, would you happen to know any specs concerning modeling? Such as poly limits and the like?
What programs your modlers use to import...etc.
(If you don't read this...I'll just note you.)

Okay thanks. A modeler is creating one of my concepts, and he did not know what the poly limit was...I think I gave him 16k as a limit. Kinda too high...perhaps he can use that as a normal map?
Anyway, thanks again for sifting through all your messages to answer my question.

Wow wow wow!!! Thats an incredible beautiful painting....Reminds me of the conceptartist Ryan Church that does conceptart for Star Wars.
I think your art looks better then his art.
GREAT work and this one is definetly one of my favorites!!!

Reminds me of final flight. Your carrier craft always were a step up above others. By the way I think a neat setup could be a vertical ACC, perhaps with launch chutes, strips? I'm not entirely sure it would work, or look good at all, but I always thought it'd be interesting, and would cartianly be easier for orbital launching, if it was a space -air craft carrier......? My ideas confuse me sometimes.

dammit man your stuff is crazy. i think that your city in the BG should be a tad bit more defined, but that might make it less mysterious, so idk. also the cloud right above the city seems a bit solid. seriously tho this is cool.

'Rheinstadt' instead of 'Rheinsted' would sound even more german, in case you're trying to achieve that effect

I don't suppose you'll share what brushes you use to paint in Photoshop, the opacity or whatever settings and textures if any? ...
*sigh Yeah, i thought so.

RAAAAAAAAR DIE YOUuuuuuuuu
I use the default brushes, or natural brushes (no customs)
I use a hard round brush and soft feathered brush in conjunction with each other. My opacity and pressure settings are constantly varied and reset, because thats how it is in real life with your hand and 'delicate' motor movements..
SO MEH

Good lord, Hull Breach strikes again! Amazing, although along the transport things seem slightly fuzzy, or rather, rough. Very nice though, I need to learn how to do this kind of thing

The top purple cloud area stands out irregularly in non-full view mode. It seems to move with the plane, but 2D horizontally.
