Hmm, a guy with an oversized ego. There's one in every scifi. They either make for great long term villains, like the Go'auld in SG-1, or annoying recurring characters that will die much later in the series, like Senator/VP Kensey also in SG-1, with the viewers going "Yes. Finally" when we see them go. This guy looks like he'll be the former.

Sounds similiar to what happens in the Soltirean Empire...you don't kill some one [even if they are a child of a enemy force] you will be labled a traitor.
