Description
Lisbon Street ArtA beautiful fado if your interested in hearing one, from the exquisite voice of Amália Rodrigues: [link]
Fado ("destiny, fate") is a music genre which can be traced to the 1820s in Portugal, but probably with much earlier origins.
In popular belief, fado is a form of music characterized by mournful tunes and lyrics, often about the sea or the life of the poor, and infused with a characteristic sentiment of resignation, fatefulness and melancholia (loosely captured by the word "saudade", or longing). However, although the origins are difficult to trace, today fado is by many regarded as a simply a form of song which can be about anything, but must follow a certain structure. The music is usually linked to the Portuguese word saudade which symbolizes the feeling of loss (a permanent, irreparable loss and its consequent life lasting damage). Amália Rodrigues, Carlos do Carmo, Mariza, Mafalda Arnauth, and Cristina Branco are amongst the most famous individuals associated with the genre.
On November 27, 2011, Fado was inscribed in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists.

As you said yourself: "Feeling gratitude and not expressionism it is like wrapping a present and not giving it."

Fado ... sung by one fado singer and accompanied by a Portuguese guitar.
Great Amalia Rodrigues, who sang verses of Camões as anyone!!! I heard a lot in my adolescence.
The song I remember most : " Nem às paredes confesso"
"♪♫De quem eu gosto
nem às paredes confesso
E até aposto
Que não gosto de ninguém...♫♪"

Indeed, that is a beautiful fado, but so is "Gaivota" [link] "Que perfeito coração
No meu peito bateria,
Meu amor na tua mão,
Nessa mão onde cabia
Perfeito o meu coração."

Yes, it is truth!!
"♫Se ao dizer adeus à vida
As aves todas do céu,
Me dessem na despedida
O teu olhar derradeiro,
Esse olhar que era só teu,
Amor que foste o primeiro.♫"
It's beautiful!!
