Description
I was sketching a scene where HOK clashes with Martin over a violent interrogation of a mythic dawn spy. She summons Shadowmere from a large puddle of rainwater (I thought it would be cool if any body of water and not just that tar pit by the sanctuary could be used. P.S: being an assassin was why she was in prison). After a short dialogue, she coldly leaves Martin speechless, supposedly to warn Bruma about the upcoming attacks but clearly with the intention of not coming back. Now everyone knows she’s not the hero they thought she was. She doesn’t belong there, and she doesn’t intend to come back. She will though. She will.
I might draw this scene in full since it should be a short scene. I wanted to make the summoning horrifying. The water basically turns bubbly, and thick and dark like old blood, and the horse scrambles out as though it were drowning in it. A bit like the orcs emerging from the slime in Lord of the Rings. Edgy stuff like that.
