Legendary assassin from the Dark Avenger universe - Calamity, Hitlock's partner, is a tall brute of a woman. Cassidy Grove was suffering from cancer, dying, her boyfriend abandoned her because he couldn't handle the emotional toll. She was frail and weak and, on the verge of death, volunteered for an experiment to cure her. It cured her, alright. After months of painful experimentation, she and a few others had gained extraordinary abilities. Whereas she had been frail her whole life, she now had the power to crush any opponent with one hand. To honor those still fighting cancer, she keeps her head shaved at all times in remembrance. The program ultimately was designed to shop them out to dictators/ world leaders to be sold to the highest bidder, but metas ended up rebelling and killed everyone who attempted to stop them from leaving, destroying the base, and scaring off those that were set to own them.
Yet, Calamity and Hitlock had nothing to return to. No homes, no families. Only each other. So they got good at what they were intended for. The art of murder. Becoming renowned assassins the world over. Calamity is able to casually lift around 900 pounds with one hand, and lift 2,400 at a maximum.

Special shout-out to the man, the myth for his original idea and most of the work on Calamity. Originally, the design was one we came up with for one of his characters that didn't end up panning out. She was instead used as a basis for this. I ended up finishing the shading, but the original tones and lines were all his. Could not have done it without you, brother.
