Angelica Johnson, daughter of powerful industrialist Samuel Johnson/ the super powered crime lord Power Surge, spent her early years being raised in a loving home. After the death of her uncle and aunt, her father took in her orphaned cousin Eric to raise alongside Angelica. A couple of years later, Angelica's own mother died of natural circumstances. Her life had been turned upside down in such a short time.

Samuel changed after the death of his wife, becoming abusive to Eric, but continuing to spoil his little princess Angelica. Angelica went from a sweet, shy girl to an outgoing, prideful, snobby, little lady. Her father's wealth and influence meant Angelica could do whatever or treat anyone how she wanted and get away with it.

As an adult, she underwent the same process her father had used to gain his powers, becoming capable of manipulating light to render herself invisible or temporarily blind people with light rays. She joined her father's criminal organization as his secret weapon: an invisible assassin capable of entering the most secure facilities, executing her target, and slipping away unnoticed. She uses specialized gear created by her cousin RED, which includes goggles that allow her to see while she's invisible, and her wrist-mounted blades which can become coated with electrical energy.

Although an accomplished acrobat, and an adept fighter in her own right, Power Surge still felt it necessary to give his daughter extra protection in the form of a bodyguard named Parker. Despite her attitude, Parker fell for Angelica. Angelica initially resented Parker, seeing him as a low-class loudmouth. The years of working together have slowly softened Angelica's views on him and indeed the world, reforming her spoiled princess persona.

While a spoiled daddy's girl, Angelica is also cunning, cultured, and driven, seeking to become her father's natural successor as the head of his company someday, doing everything she can to learn as much as she can about both the legitimate and illegitimate faces of his organization. She's a woman with huge dreams and the ambition and skill to accomplish them.
