3D Model of my X9 Ride Armor concept.It's been awhile since I do 3d. Didn't turn out the way I want it to because I want to animate it but I'm really not good at rigging 3D models. It may took awhile to learn rigging but 3D isn't my thing anyway. I rigged this model but It wasn't good enough. I did a turn around of the model instead .
Didn't use textures and just colored it. I also wanted to do it in low poly as if it was a 3D model meant for a game.
I did subtle redesigning btw...

What did you use to model it? Β Rigging is fairly easy on mechanical models where you can rigid bind the joints.

Hrm... the gatling gun looks interesting, but one thing makes me wonder on this, what is the center barrel used for? The ones that spin (outside ones) are usually the firing ones and they don't have a 'center' one normally.

I know what you mean btw, but since this is my concept it's not a problem because I have a leeway of creating things.

I was thinking of two different types of 'shots'. The outside ring firing rapid shots, and the inside one firing higher energy shots (aka "charge-shots")
I was curious on how it operated though but couldn't really theorize on it until you gave the "it also fires buster bullets" mention.

I would have design the center barrel differently if it fires a different type of buster shot.

That's what I would've thought too... but maybe it's just made out of a slightly tougher, less conductive material?
