Some environment work after a long time, well practicing other things and i was bored for a while so
I just looked up some reference and thought why not do something. ANd end of the day its still concept art and what ever tool gets the job done.

lighting and color-wise it looks pretty gorgeous. I would personally ease up on the blur in the background a bit, it is actually distracting + plus I don't think you have to hide those details! Nice work overall

oh ok, to be honest, i couldn't match the texture details of the mountains to the castle.
the castle isn't as sharp as the mountains, i could show you the original image if you think
that is better.

ah I see, for that I try to rely only on high resolution pics so I can make sure they will all have a similar degree of detail. It is limiting though as you can't always use whatever you want.

This looks quite nice. However, I am afraid to inform you, that the saddle is backwards. The part that is on the horse's rump is actually a padded spot to make it easier on the rider's legs. The part of the saddle on the horse's shoulders helps keep the rider from falling off the backend. The size of the saddle is much too big and would make it quite difficult for the horse to walk let alone carry a rider. However, your lighting and composition on the overall piece is quite beautiful.
