Description
A young man runs for the bus, it stops and he pulls out his bus pass. Young Man is about to step on the bus when he realizes there is a very small old lady with her little bundle buggy being pushed in front of her. Young Man steps back and waits for Elderly Woman to make her way off the bus.Elderly Woman is a very kindly looking old woman, pushing her small bundle buggy in front of her. Young Man waits patiently as Elderly Woman takes her time before stepping onto the icy conditions that lay outside the bus as he is in no hurry. The old woman slowly pushes her bundle buggy until it slides off the bus gently. Elderly woman is so much smaller than he, so he just watched as she slowly extended her hand to him. With a smile Young Man offers his arm to her for support and Elderly Woman accepts it gratefully. To steady her further Young Man places his other hand on her shoulder should she fall. Elderly Woman barely applied any pressure at all, as she weighed so little, and stepped down from the bus. A very quiet "thank-you" could be heard by the young gentleman and he responded with a smile; "it was no trouble."
Young Man boards the bus, showing his pass as he walks by, and takes a seat. He then looked up casually and saw an advertisement in the bus. "How do you get to Kindness Street?" It read in bold letters, then to answer itself beneath the question the word "caring" is in bold letters. Young Man smiles, leans back into his seat, and gets comfortable for his trip.
A second Young Man runs for the bus, taking out his bus pass as he hurries to catch it. Once the bus stops he almost leaps onto the bus, but realizes that there is a wizened old woman getting ready to crawl out the bus. Young Man stands aside and waits while she takes her time getting off the bus. This Elderly Woman also has a bundle buggy that she probably bothered to drag around everywhere with her. This Young Man waits, rolling his eyes at her since she cannot see as she looked down, focussing too much of her attention too much of her attention on the bundle buggy she was clinging to, than moving out of his way. Once Elderly Woman finally gets her bundle buggy off the bus she slowly extends a hand to the impatient youth. With a sigh and another roll of his eyes Young Man gives Elderly Woman one of his hands to hold on to as he looked up and away from her as she began her descent to the icy conditions outside the bus. Young Man frowns at the length of time this is taking. Once she reached the ground the same quiet "thank-you" came from below to which Young Man responded with a gruff; "whatever."
Finally he gets inside, showing his bus pass as he brushed by. Young Man took a seat, right beside the previous Young Man and glancing up he saw a sign, right beside the one the other Young Man had previously seen. Reading the advertisement, it read; "having a long day?" Young Man grin and almost nodded then read the next set of bold letters as the question answered itself beneath; "it will only get longer." Young Man sighed and slouched down into his chair to await the moment he will arrive at his destination.
