Description "Ever since its establishment, all manner of curses have managed to seep into the Undead Settlement. The worst of them were sealed away inside a spirit tree, but eventually the curses took their toll"

So the whole fight is literally you running around a tree, punching it in the balls. Got to give it some props though, it had some attacks that caught me off guard. Like when it grabs you with its tiny crotch hand (I wasn't familiar at the time with how much DS bosses love to grab you and most likely one-shot you with it) or when it just jumps at you from a distance while you're trying to deal with it's underlings and not looking at it. Aside from that it was a pretty easy fight. 3 tries.

It protected a child once. But now it destroys all it sees.

Just realized that i've been liking a ton of Darksouls art despite being ignorant of anything that has to do with darksouls

О, новый стиль. Будет здорово, если попробуешь совместить его с понями. Может получим ещё одного художника с хорошей крипотой, а то что не густо их.

The Undead Settlement is one of my favorite areas in the game, and the Curse-Rotten Greatwood feels fitting for it.
For being a tree, it could have been much worse. While it's not the most engaging boss-fight, at least it's not the Bed of Chaos.

Its weak point is its scrotum. Gross but realistic.

By the way, what's your current fighting style?

Run around, hit once, then run around again.

I meant more of Two-handing Greatswords, mace and shield, pyromancy longsword and shield, that type of stuff.

at first it was some short weapon with shield, then claymore with shield, then claymore without shield and now it's black knight's greatsword with piromancy glove(I never really use it, just put it there because it weights nothing) and a bow to lure enemies or kill them with it if they can't get to me

In that case, I suggest wearing the Grass-Crest or the Want shield, since those shield's effects still active (stamina regain and soul gain bonus in that order) when it's on your back.

Yeah, grass shield works pretty good with that ring that fasten your stamina regen

Honestly, I still say that them giving you four ring slots was one of the best things they did in DS2. Also, if you didn't know, there's a hidden tower in the path that isn't guarded by Crystal Hat, and there's a semi-boss at the top that drops a soul. You can use that soul to create either a spell or a ring, and I highly suggest you get the ring. Trust me, it will help you with Fashion Souls.

The stray demon and Havel's ring? If yes, then I got exactly that

Good. Fashion is the most important part of the series.

Now talk to the legless guy in the throne if you haven't already. Also, something you might like to know is that starting in the Undead Settlement there are NPC phantoms that will appear and fight you if you're embered, but only before you beat the boss of that area.
