technically they didn't ignore nothing. as someone pointed out, twilight hasn't really interacted with trixie since her heel face turn. even in the comic she only interacted other members of the mane six, never twilight sparkle. Twilight really hasn't actually MET post heel face turn Trixie or vice versa.
