This is part of a series of shots that I am doing for my a-levels based upon Mashahiro Ito- the head artist for the game and movie of silent hill. I decided to take a part on the nurses of the Silent Hill series taking influences from both the game and the movie.
The costume's are hand-made from cotton polyester material as are the hats. They were then stained with herbal tea, coal and fake blood (made by mixing red/blue food dye and custard powder). The hats went through the same ways. The bandages are old bandages dipped into coffee and coal smeared on them also.
