Heh, you're not the first, but i'm not much of a shipper--i prefer writing sans and toriel as having a really good supportive friendship, since it seems neither of them have close friends otherwise ^^

Besides me liking Soriel, I also like those one they are "just' friends. I don't like the term "just" like it would mean less. I have friendships like that, usually I'm the mothery one XD. But it's really nice. Someone you trust and care for, for helping each other when is needed... Romance is not the only way to love someone... So, I like both relationships about them, both platonic and romantic ones.

Exactly! Close friendships are just as important and valuable in someone's life, and even though Sans is a generally friendly guy he doesn't seem to have a lot of people he's actually good friends with--so Toriel being there for him is a really nice dynamic, whether it's romantic or not ^^

Sans is really interesting. He is a sociable person, but he don't get close to a lot of people. I don't know if it's trust issues, or if he just don't want to deal with people get into his personal problems. He is really close to Toriel, but said anything to her eighter.
