Description
Sans is glad he doesn’t have to explain any more than he needs to–the others all have their own reasons for knowing about LOVE, either through their work… or personal experience. That doesn’t make it any easier to bring up, or for Sans to explain why he has the power to punish someone for it…

It's more that she knows Sans didn't really take any of his jobs seriously, slacking off and sleeping any chance he got--he's hardly the type of person Undyne could see making a good judge, hence why shes's so skeptical he could hold the king accountable :"D

it'd be fishy if sans hadn't just had the realization that trying to fight this doesn't matter; he's too tired to keep up the usual runaround anymore and is starting to be a little more truthful... but he's still hoping he won't have to say much more than that. =u=;

But, he's being more truthful than he's been...
that is the tricky part of writing an unreliable 'narrator', but sans is getting too tired to keep thinking of lies and covers for what his friends are asking him about.

it's kind of funny, a lot of people think he's lying even though just a couple pages back he realized how pointless it was to fight anymore... perhaps that's a weakness of my writing, but there's no way i could have really known ahead of time either :"D

Flowey isn't wrong! He mostly means Papyrus holds back on using his full power and skill in battle--Papyrus is the only monster who will never kill you in their battle, stopping just before. Even Toriel can kill you without meaning to, so it's pretty impressive that's he's able to stop--and Flowey is perfectly aware that he's able to do so, and that's what he means.
i don't think the brothers have quite the same abilities, so sans' karma ability is one of those differences between them; it doesn't mean papyrus has no abilities of his own =u=

And thank you! It's always been my headcanon that Sans' grin is basically permanent, but he's fairly expressive with his eyes--so that's how I get his feelings across. ^^
