Description
Well, I was a bit hesitant about uploading this... but I decided that since I havent had the time to take any new photos, I might as well upload something. Yesterday I found some tutorial and so I was playing around using a few of their techniques and some of my own and ended up making this. I still think I need to make the planets merge with the backround a bit better... and if I fix that then Ill reupload it. But for now... this is what Ive got. Not bad for a first try I think... and its something new from me, so I hope you like it...Enjoy...

that's a good job, and certainly different from what is usual with you, and it turned out very good, congrats!

What would probably help the planets blend in is changing the light source; right now it is fairly undetermined, and looks to be at pretty much a perfect 45 degree angle. Perhaps use the bottom-left cluster of stars as the source, and adjust the planet accordingly. Another thing that might help is to use something other than a lense flare. There is a good tutorial for that shown here: [link]
Overall a very good piece, although the lack of colour does detract from it a bit, I must say it's a fairly decent piece overall.
