Hard to explain what I did, but I'll try...
I did some trimming to allow the front end sections of the front paws to actually fold upward a good bit, making it possible for the cat to stand on just those front paw parts. With the full double hinged front paw parts folded down so kitty could stand this way however, it left the robot hands totally exposed, so I added styrene parts on the backs of those folding paw sections to cover the bot hands pretty well in the new position, and filled in between those new styrene parts with sculpt.

Basically, now in cat mode, which I feel is a Ravage figure's most important mode, he stands on the front of the paws like an agile cat instead of having big goofy flat feet. This also makes the front legs a little longer to match the length of the rear legs better.

To bring this together fully, I also painted the paw ends black and the rest of the sections that were his feet a silver color to match the rest of the lower legs, and painted the backs of his bot hands that same silver too. Did pretty much the same thing on the back legs, making it so he looks like he has small black paws on longer silver lower legs on all 4 legs.
Painted the wells around his shoulders black too, so the figure is all-around more accurate to both IDW and G1 now.
