Description

Kabuki’s morning had started as every other does; she got up, grabbed a small bite to eat, had her required vanity hour, and then began to wander through the dense forest. She had gone a couple hours through the forest, finding new areas and possible dens to rest. She had taken breaks near rivers and streams to rest her claws and clean the dirt from them. It wasn’t too long later that she had decided that it was time for a longer rest. She used her height and claws to pull herself into a tree and onto a branch that would hold her.
She curled her tail around the branch, resting her head on her shoulder and dozed off for a bit. She was unaware of another wanderer walking nearby. The other snek would have walked on by if not for the soft hiss coming from Kabuki’s sleeping form. The other snek stopped, looking up to see Kabuki sleeping there. The other snek walked over to the small clearing near the tree, lying down. She was curious about this snek that hid herself in trees. She remained quiet for a little bit longer before loudly clearing her throat.

Kabuki’s head shot up and she quickly dialed in on the new snek. She stared at the snek before shaking her head, “Hello?”

The other snek smiled, “Hello! I am sorry for waking you! I’ve just never seen another snek stay in a tree for so long!”

Kabuki looked at her oddly, looking around before looking back at her.

“Oh! Sorry! I’m Abhaya! It’s nice to meet you!”

“Kabuki. Darling, do you make it a habit to talk with random sneks while they sleep?”

Abhaya looked shocked for a moment before laughing nervously, “Haha… Yeah, sorry again. It’s just, I don’t always see a lot of sneks, so it’s really nice to see someone.”

“Mm… Well, since I am awake, what are you doing?”

“Well.. I was walking around, trying to find something around here, but then I found you!”

“I see. It seems we were both doing the same thing.”

“Really? Would you like some company?” Abhaya bounced up to her feet.

Kabuki let out a soft sigh, smiling as she climbed down from the tree, “I don’t see why not.”
