Haha, no I am not German. I live in Florida. I actually have that name because of my horse, Siggurd. She's an Oldenburg that was imported to Florida from Germany 13 years ago. I was looking through her pedigree and found a stallion named Aktuell and I really liked it so I decided to make it my username.

Ah, okay. Aktuell ("current") is quite a funny name for a horse. I wonder what inspired the holders to call it that way ...

I really don't think it's that odd. I mean, my horses name is Siggurd. And the mare she lives with is named Aywell. But I am curious why they did choose "current".
