Film is a dying art.I've heard that often.
Even so, I find something so emotionally satisfying to produce art with my own bare hands--since paper and pencil aren't my forte. The red lights, the curl of the paper, the potent smell of chemicals, the wait.
and wait.
and wait.
and wait.
and wait.
until it APPEARS.
There's nothing like it.
Kickin' it old school.

I agree completely! And after hours upon hours of working in a darkroom, I've gotten used to the smell, but yes, it is unforgettable.
