I call this fractal “Into the Soul” because it speaks to me as if it is the view from behind the windows of the soul. We all know the saying that the eyes are the windows into the soul, but what would it be like on the other side of that window? The soul must be a beautiful place, full of a person’s hopes, dreams, cherished memories, and most influential people. It could be a fiery, glittery jungle of the person’s deepest secrets, thoughts, and motivations. It would be moving, changing, letting go of past aspirations and modifying them into new goals for the future. It would burn with the aspects of life the person is the most passionate about. It sparkles around the memories of the best parts of the person’s life. It is cracked where the person has been emotionally hurt or separated from a loved one.

All of this is influenced by what the person sees and feels, as the fractal shows us through the fractalized “arms” that reach toward the two small eyes at the top of the fractal. The soul is connected to the eyes in a glorious two-way street that lets outside events affect the soul, while the eyes can reflect joy or sorrow when the soul is overwhelmed. The heart of the fractal represents the middle of the soul; the most important things that shaped the person’s life, and the events that keep them going. It is what shapes the person’s personality, as faceted and complex as it may be.

The fractal shows us this part of the soul through the fractal arms that seem to protect the little crowns at its very center.
