So I mentioned that I wanted to do a series of illustrations based on different anime that I loved when I was younger, because I thought it would be cute and fun and maybe remind me of how happy i was to draw when i first started out without worrying about it so much ; v ;
I decided against going in order though because I wanted to just have fun and not worry about like, having to do a certain one before another or anything like that lol ;;;

So the first piece in this series is fanart for shugo chara!! One of my very favorites! I watched it when I was like 11 and I remember buying all of the manga volumes too, I had to wait for them to come out in america one at a time!!! I just thought the art was sooo beautiful and complex lmao! ; v ; I rewatched it recently and I think its a very cute and sweet series! It's a magical girl anime about a girl who is insecure about way people perceive her vs the person she really wants to be, and it's about all of the characters learning to follow their dreams and do what makes their hearts happy

The eggs all have little mascots inside that represent each character's true self and their heart's desire!! I loved it so much
