I used to do a lot of origami growing up (almost completed making 1000 paper cranes in high school), so making triangles was easy, albeit time-consuming and a bit painful.

Yes, I designed it myself for the most part. I got the general idea from someone on YouTube who made a GIANT one out of whole pieces of paper in their living room, but ended up deviating after about the 7th or 8th row and doing my own thing~ Also, it's a swan because I own no colored printer paper. If I may, I'd like to ask how you finish beaks. It was the only thing I had issues with. I chose to just taper off and ended with one triangle at the end.

Haha, I've been doing single-sheet origamis for years and I discovered 3D origami last April. Now I'm addicted to this one. xD

You know you can color the pieces yourselfs, with ink/paint and a brush. xD What you did with the neck is cool. I would have made it a little longer, so the neck would be more "curved". The way you did your beak is right, you can add a 3 black colored pieces (fit them like you did on the neck) at the end. Some people use a larger piece that covered the last 3 pieces of the neck.

Yeah, the neck gave me issues. I was considering making it longer for just that reason, but after making it long enough to curve correctly it dwarfed the already-completed wings, and I didn't want to redo them. So I went more for the trumpeting-swan look.

For some reason, I didn't even think about coloring the pieces myself. *stares at 6-pack of colored Sharpies sitting on her desk* I will remember that. I might even add the black beak and retake the pictures if I feel like it. It will make it look more finished. And also I might add little black eyes.

I know why, now. xD Neck are usually done with inverted pieces. Look at my peacock and phoenix. The front side of your neck should be "inside".

Also, your neck might too thick to be curved, that's why you have to do a long neck if you want to curve it. I usually do 2 types of neck:
[link] : This one is easy to curve. The pieces on the side are one-side slotted.

[link] : This one is less easy to curve, but easier than yours I think.
