Info: The SR-72 “Darkstar” Unmanned Reconnaissance Bomber is a class of Unmanned Reconnaissance Vehicles/Bombers currently being used by the North Atlantic Coalitions United States of America Branch. Codenamed by all North Atlantic Coalition Military personnel as Project “Son of Blackbird”, this experimental aircraft is designed to conduct intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions into enemy territory giving it the capability to travel faster (at Mach 6) than its predecessors the SR-71 “Blackbird” Strategic Reconnaissance Aircraft (while the recon and other variants of the SR-71 are retired the NAC still kept the SR-71-BX “Blackbird” Strategic Reconnaissance Aircraft (bomber) variants in active service because the NAC still have a large of amount of SR-71-BX in active service and they figured that it would be a good idea to modernize and improve the BX variants capabilities) with the incorporation of more advanced avionics and hypersonic technology, with all of this information in mind, it makes the SR-72 a significant technological leap from its SR-71 predecessor. As a Hypersonic Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, the SR-72 is designed to showcase its ability of unparalleled speed and stealth capabilities, it can travel at speeds from Mach 6 to more thanks to an advanced aircraft propulsion system that uses turbine and scramjet technology, which enables the aircraft to perform rapid reconnaissance missions over hostile territory without being detected or intercepted. In its role as a Hypersonic Unmanned Bomber, the SR-72 carries a sophisticated payload of precision-guided munitions. It can strike targets with remarkable accuracy and speed, making it a formidable asset for preemptive or retaliatory strikes. The aircraft's ability to operate autonomously or under remote control further enhances its strategic value, allowing it to undertake high-risk missions without endangering pilots. Equipped with cutting-edge avionics, sensor suites, and communication systems, the SR-72 can gather and transmit real-time intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) data, providing critical insights into enemy movements and strategies. Its advanced stealth technology minimizes its radar cross-section, making it nearly invisible to enemy defenses. The Lockheed Martin SR-72 represents the pinnacle of modern military aviation, combining speed, stealth, and versatility. It marks a new era in aerial warfare, where unmanned systems play an increasingly dominant role in achieving air superiority and strategic advantage.
Notes:
In the event anyone asks where I got the idea to turn the SR-72 into an unmanned reconnaissance bomber, I got the Idea from the game Modern Warships
The Modern Warships Version of the SR-72 can be seen right here (mwstats.info/aircraft/bomber/s… )
Update Log:
11/30/2023: had to take another picture of the SR-72 because it had some edit lines that I forgot to remove.
