Description my favourite color, a union of opposites who compliment one another to form a rich depth that is all shadow and light in one. Grey.

+fav I love the text in the center, it's a pity tho that the last image seems like a lower res. than the others. it kinda screws up the overall purity of the whole thing

More brilliant photos Alison. YOU have the fantastic eye. I am completely blown away at your ability to find such evocative poses and angles.

Everything here has a wonderful air to it, and everything seems to have its own message, everything hidden in the way you're posed, as well as the framing/cropping (which is bloody fantastic.) Such personal and evocative photography is great to see, and it's exactly the stuff I like to see. Trying to figure out what you're thinking by looking at one eye or the curves in your lips or the position of your arms is not only challenging, it's incredibly enjoyable. Definantly a favourite.

Wonderful photos Alison

These two series are a lovely point-counterpoint.. I don't know if it's because I've been reading "Bitch: In praise of difficult women" by Elizabeth Wurtzel, or if it's because I look for too much meaning, or what.. But the two series compliment each other SO well.

The first series, with the subtly pinstriped pants and intensely noncomittal facial expressions, the angles.. It was very "woman as business," "I can play your game, but I'm still me," sort of.. If you know what I mean. Very linear, very.. I don't want to say detached, but that's the only word that comes to mind. Detached in a sensual, intense sort of way..

This is all curves, softness, intense emotion. The close-ups say more about the heart.. the nudity is what's left when the shells of pinstripes and Calvin Klein go by the wayside. Both show not only exquisite sides of -your- personality, but serve as a microcosm for the beauty and complexity of woman..

You know I have a tendency to go on and on about most of your work, and I really am your biggest fan.. but of everything you've done, these two, I love the most. I want these matted and framed and in my room.. They're so personal, and so universal at the same time. I can't say enough about them. (Which should be obvious. *L*)

stunning and gorgeous, utro. someone may have said, but there's a fascinating difference between this series and the other series - form vs. persona, you might say. i really like how you present so many perspectives of yourself, although they tend to focus on a fairly small set of focus points. with just one or two more images to capture your legs and feet, we could assemble a complete picture of you in our heads from these "puzzle pieces" - a much more interesting and provocative challenge than snapping a picture of utro-in-full.

bravo!

this time the progression is with the closeness to the body, as opposed to the angle so much in v.1...they both work very well....there is a sensuality to this one that is very nice as well..

My only problem with this submission is the quality of the JPEG compression, other than that, the nude form is probably one of my favorite things to photograph, next to landscape and nature shots. Keep it up!

Strangely, I can't seem to view the whole text. The image gets cut-off at a point. Weird.

Anyway, this one shows much more character and personality than the earlier one. I think you should indeed try a higher quality JPG version. The graininess of the pic distracts the eye.
